For every order placed with DPD, an automatic PIN code is generated at the time of purchase, which makes the parcel pre-registered for the Sender (i.e., there’s no need to write the destination or the recipient’s phone number on the parcel), and you don’t need to pay anything at the parcel machine as the Sender.
When the order is placed, you’ll receive the PIN code together with the order confirmation via email. In addition, the PIN code is also visible under your shop’s orders (at the bottom navigation bar → My Yaga → My shop orders → Details → PIN code).
NB! With DPD, it is important that you do not forget to print the parcel label at the machine and attach it to the parcel.
How to send a parcel using a DPD PIN code?
Pack the item properly (read more about that HERE) and we also recommend manually writing the parcel code on the parcel you're sending. If the parcel gets lost or the label comes off, the courier can identify it and redirect it based on the information you've written.
Go to the nearest DPD parcel machine.
Select on the screen “Send or return parcel” → “Print out label with QR or PIN code”
Next, it’s important to press the box “Enter PIN”, which appears at the bottom of the screen.
After entering the PIN code, the screen will display the recipient’s details → press “Continue” to print the parcel label → be sure to attach the label to the parcel!
Scan the barcode on the parcel label.
The machine will open a locker for you → place the parcel inside → optionally, print a receipt for yourself
PS! If the selected locker size turns out to be too small, you can change it to a larger one at the machine by pressing “Open bigger box” (closing the locker first is not required) and pay the difference at the machine.
To avoid such situations, familiarize yourself with the locker sizes and choose the correct size when uploading the item in Yaga.
Once the PIN code has been used, Yaga’s system will automatically mark your item as shipped within a short time = the Buyer will receive a notification that the parcel is on its way.
When the parcel reaches its destination, the Buyer will receive a message with which they can collect it from the parcel machine → once the Buyer has received the parcel, they must complete the order in Yaga.
Once the order is completed, the money for the sold item will be released to your Yaga account.
NB1! Each individual parcel is linked to a specific PIN code. If the Buyer has placed multiple orders under one PIN code, then the entire order must be packed into one parcel. It is not possible to send multiple parcels with the same code or from the same locker.
NB2! The PIN code with DPD is linked to the specific locker size you selected for the item in Yaga.
NB3! The PIN code is valid for one month (30 days) from the time of purchase, after which it will be automatically cancelled by the DPD system.
Before shipping, please ensure your item is allowed to be shipped and complies with the courier’s Terms & Conditions. Prohibited or restricted items may be delayed or returned. If you’re unsure, please check the courier’s prohibited items list or contact them directly.
