Yaga is the fastest and most convenient way to open your own online store and sell both new and used items. In your Yaga store, users can make instant payments using the most common bank links in Estonia and credit card.
How exactly does Yaga work?
Buyer finds a product of interest and completes the payment via bank link, credit card, or by using the balance available on their Yaga account. Both the Seller and the Buyer receive an order confirmation via email, Yaga notifications.
The money is held in Yaga’s account (Order prepayments).
The item is sent from the Seller to the Buyer using Omniva or DPD parcel machines, or by another method agreed upon between the Buyer and the Seller. If the Buyer chooses a delivery method such as “Upon agreement” or “Pick up from Seller” the Seller must confirm the item has been handed over in the Yaga system. Otherwise, the order status will update automatically shortly after the package is shipped.
The Buyer confirms receiving the item in the Yaga system. The Seller is notified that the item has been received.
The money moves to the “Completed orders” section in the Seller’s Yaga account and can be used for making purchases on Yaga or withdrawn to a bank account by clicking the “Payout to bank account” button in the "My wallet" view.
Is trading on Yaga safe?
Yaga facilitates payments between the Seller and the Buyer in a secure way. When the Buyer pays for an item, the payment is first received by Yaga. Only after the Seller has delivered the item and the Buyer confirms the order (by clicking the “Item received” button on the order and completing the subsequent double-confirmation), Yaga releases the funds to the Seller’s Yaga account.
If, for any reason, the Seller cancels the order, the full amount paid by the Buyer is automatically refunded to the Buyer’s Yaga account. Once the Buyer initiates a payout to their bank account, Yaga transfers the funds back to the Buyer’s bank account within 1–3 business days.
This process protects both Sellers and Buyers from potential fraud. Additionally, all financial transactions related to orders are always visible and traceable in the “My wallet” view.
